Job search is faster and more consistent, and resume import got smarter so you spend less time fixing details. You’ll see smoother navigation and fewer interruptions across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Highlights:

  • Job search cards are now fully tappable with clearer visuals, making it quicker to open and compare roles.

  • Viewed jobs now persist locally so you can pick up where you left off.

  • Resume import is improved, including better address handling and localization for non‑English resumes.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed iPad portrait menu and navigation issues at launch

  • Removed Mac onboarding flicker during setup

  • Added a Retry option when the AI assistant hits an error

Our iOS 26 release gave us an opportunity to refresh the app's user interface.

  • Edge-to-edge UI that takes full advantage of the entire screen

  • An updated main menu, including a new 'floating' menu on iPad

Dark mode in CV Engineer's iOS app.

We've finally added dark mode to our iOS and macOS apps! You no longer need to strain your eyes while building your resume on Apple devices.

This brings our iOS and macOS apps up-to-date with our Android app, which has had dark mode for a while.

The app will follow the dark/light mode appearance setting you've set for your device.

New website for CV Engineer

We've rebuilt the CV Engineer website from the ground up using Framer.

Our 2025 plans include finally building a web app. With that in mind, we thought it was high time to give the website a refresh. CV Engineer originally launched on Android, and we've subsequently expanded onto iOS and macOS.
